Travel Insurance & More During These Times

Nice Guy Tours has been so excited that traveling has started to open up again.  It’s been a joy meeting so many new folks from all over again. That said, if you’re planning your next trip and want to have a backup plan in case of the unexpected, it could be issues like medical emergencies,…

Porto Rico Importing Co: The Best Part of Waking Up in NYC

I like to start the Greenwich Village Tour here – have a cup or take home some coffee beans.

Great NYC Find: Olive Oil and Balsamic at Essex Market

Saad at Essex Olive and Spice in Essex Market – the new Essex Market I should add – is a great spot on our Lower East Side Tour.

Worth the Wait at Yonah

Crowded house at Yonah Schimmel. If you’ve had a knish here, you know why.

Rice Ball in the City

Aracini in the City. The best rice balls are at Faicco’s. Hands down.

Let There Be Olive Oil (And Lots of It!)

Saad of Essex Olive Oil & Spice in the all new and beautiful Essex Market. If you haven’t seen the new digs yet, you’re missing out.

But first coffee…

The best part of waking up? It’s not Folgers people – Porto Rico Importing Company

Hydrate!

Outside of Yonah Shimmel’s Knish Bakery giving out some waters. You definitely need to hydrate on this tour especially during the summertime ☀️

Dumpling for Your Dumpling?

Pork dumplings. You can get them just about anywhere but I promise you they won’t taste as good as they do at Vanessa’s Dumpling House.

Two Thumbs Up!

Siskel and Ebert. I miss those guys. Their trademark was “two thumbs up,” and pastrami at Katz’s Deli easily scores the highest ratings. Believe the hype. You’ll never go anywhere else for pastrami (or want to anyway)

Cupcakes Taking the Cake

Some new fans of Molly’s Cupcakes. It’s easy to see why this place won Cupcake Wars. These cupcakes are amazing.

Get Yourself in a Pickle

Don’t get yourself in a pickle this week…unless you go on our Lower East Tour! Har har. Have a great week everyone. Pickle Guys

Nonna Maria = Mamma Mia!

Hey, who took my piece? The Nonna Maria slice at Bleecker Street Pizza is epic, and I use that term in a cool way. Everyone says “epic” now, but seriously this slice lives up to that word.

Dumplings to Keep Us Warm

It’s been brutally cold in New York lately. But, somehow when you eat these dumplings you forget the temperature feels below zero – thanks Vanessa’s Dumpling House!

Kid in a Candy Store. Literally.

Gotta love Economy Candy. I could stay in here for hours. They have candy here you had as a kid and more!

Goodbye Leftovers

Leftovers are long over by now. Time to dig back into some of the finest eats in all of New York City like Artichoke Pizza!

Stonewall

Sharing the history of The Stonewall Inn.

Don’t like Artichokes? It Doesn’t Matter!

My other favorite pie – Artichoke Basille’s! This unique slice is also the best – rich, creamy with a crispy double crust. It’s simply delicious.

Anxious to Meet You…

I’m always excited even anxious to wait for my tour to get started. I begin my Greenwich Village tours at Molly’s Cupcakes.

Bagels, Bagels and More Bagels

Everybody line up! Everything bagels are the bomb diggity (as the kids say – do they?) at Hudson Bagel in NYC! It’s just one of our stops on our Greenwich Village Tour!

Behold! One of the Best Slices. Ever.

The Nonna Maria slice at Bleecker Street Pizza . There’s no going back after this!
